Job summary

Waxahachie ISD Transportation is seeking a CDL Driver Trainee in Waxahachie, TX. This limited-duration training position teaches the skills to become a district Bus Driver, with promotion to Bus Driver within 90 days or reassignment.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 21 years of age required
• Ability to obtain Texas CDL (Class A or B) with P and S endorsements within 90 days
• Must be able to drive a vehicle with Air-Brakes
• Pass DOT alcohol/drug tests and annual physical exam
• Meet TEA qualifications for school bus drivers
• Complete required safety training
