Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is hiring CDL Technicians to support inspections, cleaning, repairs, and rehabilitation of sewer and storm water pipes. The role involves manual labor, operating equipment, and entering underground structures in a safety-first, team-oriented environment.

The position requires a Class A/B vehicle background, a tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to learn other equipment while passing pre-employment checks. Full-time with shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating a Class A or B vehicle, preferably a Vac Truck.
• Tanker endorsement required or willing to obtain.
• Ability and/or willingness to learn and operate other company equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, and background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging or pulling material).
• Equipment driving and operation.
• Entry into manholes and underground structures.
• Pump watch and operation.
