Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative Farm Service is seeking a seasonal/part-time CDL driver to support our Agronomy Division. You will drive a range of vehicles to deliver crop protectants, fertilizers and other treatment products to customers, while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You may assist with loading, blending and applying products in the field and will gain experience across our cooperative’s operations, with opportunities to travel between locations from our Orange site.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license, preferably Class A, with valid credentials.
• Experience operating manual transmission preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of CDL driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of agronomy products and handling crop protectants is a plus.
• Experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, or similar products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a variety of vehicles to transport products to customers.
• Comply with regulations related to handling, transporting, and applying agricultural chemicals.
• Assist with loading, blending, and mixing agronomy products.
• Support maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

This position will be tasked with the following key objectives:

• Drive a variety of vehicles to help transport various products from the Cooperative to customers
• Safely follow all regulations related to handling materials when transporting, applying, blending and using various chemical products
• May be cross trained to support Energy division products, services and deliveries

Some positions will have the following work environment qualities.

• This role will be located at our Orange location, with opportunities to travel between various Cooperative locations when needed

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

• A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B, preferably a Class A
• Preferably able to operate a manual transmission
• Preferred at least 6 months of CDL professional driving experience
• Preferred knowledge and experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment
• Dedication to safety and compliance
• A passion and enthusiasm to work with our cooperative customers to help improve and overcome any challenges related to their needs
