EverGRO Cooperative Farm Service in Virginia is seeking an Applicator to safely prepare and apply crop protectants, fertilizers, and other agronomy products on customer fields in a hands-on role.

You will also help maintain fleet vehicles, assist with blending and transportation of products, and follow all safety regulations including DOT rules; CDL and related licenses are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Experience in agronomy or crop protection preferred.
• 1+ year applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or related products.
• Valid licenses/certifications: Registered Technician, Commercial Applicator, or Private Applicator.
• CDL Class A preferred with at least 6 months driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Safety and compliance focused.

Responsabilidades

• Support EverGRO's Agronomy Division to safely & efficiently prepare & apply crop protectants, fertilizers & other products to customer fields.
• Assist with fleet maintenance & repair of vehicles & equipment.
• Assist with transportation, blending and mixing of agronomy products.
• Safely follow regulations for handling materials when transporting, applying & blending chemical/crop products.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and operate CMVs safely.
• May be cross-trained to support Energy division products and deliveries.

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

• Preferred knowledge & experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment
• Have obtained or are able & willing to obtain the following licenses/certifications;
  • Registered Technician OR Commercial Applicator License OR Private Applicator License
  • Forklift Certification
• Preferred high school diploma/GED equivalent
• Preferred Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with 6 months of driving experience
• Dedication to safety and compliance
