Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative Farm Service is seeking an Applicator to safely prepare and apply crop protectants, fertilizers and other products on customer fields, while supporting fleet maintenance and transportation duties.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of agronomy, at least one year of application experience, licenses (Registered Technician or Commercial/Private Applicator) and a CDL Class A preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits and training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of agronomy or crop protection products.
• At least 1 year experience applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or related products.
• Licenses/certifications: Registered Technician or Commercial/Private Applicator; Forklift cert.
• CDL Class A with 6 months driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply crop protectants, fertilizers and other crop products.
• Support fleet maintenance and repair.
• Assist with blending and transportation of agronomy products.
• Follow regulations for handling and transporting materials.
• Operate CMVs safely and comply with DOT rules.
• May support Energy division products when needed.

• Supporting EverGRO's Agronomy Division to safely & efficiently prepare & apply custom application of various crop protectants, fertilizers & other crop products to customer fields
• Support maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles & equipment

• Safely follow all regulations for handling materials when transporting, applying & blending chemical/crop products

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

• Preferred knowledge & experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment
• Have obtained or are able & willing to obtain the following licenses/certifications;
• Registered Technician OR Commercial Applicator License OR Private Applicator License
• Forklift Certification
• Preferred high school diploma/GED equivalent
• Preferred Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with 6 months of driving experience
• Dedication to safety and compliance
