Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative Farm Service in Orange, VA is seeking a Seasonal/Part-Time CDL Driver. You will drive a variety of vehicles to transport crop protectants, fertilizers, and other products to customers, assist with loading and blending, and support vehicle maintenance.

This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and delivering reliable service to our cooperative customers. A CDL Class A or B is preferred, with at least 6 months of driving experience; knowledge of agronomy is a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with Class A preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of CDL driving experience.
• Knowledge of agronomy and crop protectants is a plus.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel between Cooperative locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a variety of vehicles to transport products to customers.
• Safely handle materials following regulations for transporting, applying, blending and using chemicals.
• Assist with loading, blending and mixing agronomy products.
• Support maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
• May be cross trained to support Energy division deliveries.

• Supporting EverGRO's Agronomy Division to help safely and efficiently transport various crop protectants, fertilizers, and other treatment products to customers

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

This position will be tasked with the following key objectives:

• Drive a variety of vehicles to help transport various products from the Cooperative to customers
• Safely follow all regulations related to handling materials when transporting, applying, blending and using various chemical products
• May be cross trained to support Energy division products, services and deliveries

Some positions will have the following work environment qualities.

• This role will be located at our Orange location, with opportunities to travel between various Cooperative locations when needed

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

• A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B, preferably a Class A
• Preferably able to operate a manual transmission
• Preferred at least 6 months of CDL professional driving experience
• Preferred knowledge and experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment
• Dedication to safety and compliance
• A passion and enthusiasm to work with our cooperative customers to help improve and overcome any challenges related to their needs
