Job summary

Manning Building Supplies, a division of US LBM Holdings, is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport building materials to job sites across Eastern and Central Florida. The role requires maintaining a Class A/B license, performing DOT inspections, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

You will deliver to active construction sites and completed locations, manage logs, and assist with loading/unloading and inventory in warehouses. Customer service and safety are core priorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers preferred.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber/building materials helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Delivers to active construction sites and finished locations; city and interstate travel may be required.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and maintains logs per federal rules.
• Provides professional customer service and relays messages to customers at job sites.
• Loads, unloads, and secures materials ensuring accurate orders and safe transport.
• Safely operates a truck-mounted forklift to move materials at job sites.
• Keeps truck clean and well-maintained for operation.
• Assists with stocking and organizing inventory in warehouse and production areas.
