Job summary

Lifespace Communities, Oak Trace in Downers Grove, IL, is seeking a Driver to transport residents to scheduled destinations and engage with them during trips. This role requires a valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (CDL required) and a clean driving record.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $17.56 to $24.11 plus benefits; prior senior transport experience preferred, with opportunities to grow within a mission-driven, nonprofit organization committed to meaningful connections

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred (CDL required).
• One-year experience driving for seniors preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record (no violations).
• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and precautions to avoid accidents.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations. Track assigned pick-ups and drop offs to ensure timely service.
• Provide for high level of resident engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles. Report needs for vehicle maintenance.

Skills
