Job summary

Ferguson in Indianapolis is hiring for a truck driving role with daily home time and no nights or weekends. The job offers competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth within a large, Fortune 500 company.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid CDL A or B, be 21+, and have a DOT medical card. Hazmat endorsement is preferred. Responsibilities include delivering materials, loading/unloading, and upholding safety standards with PPE.

Qualifications

• CDL license (A or B) and hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery is a plus.
• Must meet DOT standards and maintain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring accuracy of the delivery ticket.
• Pick up returns and validate product for credit requests.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and wear PPE as required, including harness where applicable.
• Assist with pulling, packing, and stocking orders as needed in warehouse.
• Work overtime as needed and maintain customer-focused service.

Pay Range: Starting at $25 or more depending on experience

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Overtime Expected

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A or B
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
