Job summary

Ferguson is hiring for a CDL delivery driver in Michigan. Schedule runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm or until route completion. The role offers competitive compensation, benefits, 401(k) with match, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include delivering materials, loading/unloading assistance, verifying returns, and routine vehicle inspections. A valid CDL and DOT medical card are required, with a minimum of one year of delivery experience.

• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading/unloading and ensure delivery ticket is delivered with material
• Pickup customer returns and validate product for credit requests
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, report issues to supervisor
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Adhere to PPE safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL A or B
• Must have at least 1 year of CDL delivery experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to independently lift 50+ pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay Range:

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
