Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Salisbury, MA is seeking a CDL Driver to transport equipment to job sites under DOT regulations. This role may involve rigging or crating work and requires safe handling of loads and thorough pre-trip inspections.

You will work in a team, document daily paperwork, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with load securing, tarping, and use of basic rigging gear is preferred.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent is required.
Possess valid Class A CDL with Airbrakes and combo endorsements.
Minimum two years proven driving experience at ACDL level.
Minimum three years proven experience or comparable field preferably within the construction service industry.
Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platform lifts, etc.).
Experienced knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices.
Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment; hand, power and pneumatic tools.
Rigging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
Drive tractor & trailer rigs safely under DOT regulations to job sites.
Load and unload equipment with proper load securement and tarping.
Perform electronic logging and daily paperwork.
Assist with rigging and crating work as needed.
Maintain safety and regulatory compliance on all site operations.
