Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a full-time CDL Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer rigs under DOT regulations, transporting equipment and crews to job sites; this role involves rigging or crating work and securing loads. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections and work both collaboratively and independently to meet goals.

Daily responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, documenting paperwork, and maintaining high safety standards in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A with Air Brakes and Combo endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Construction service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Rig and crate handling and securing loads.
• Operate tractors and trailers under DOT regulations.
• Utilize hand/power tools to attach and secure loads.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance at all times.
