Swing Shift: 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Tuesday - Friday)

Rate of Pay: $28.41/Hour

Position Overview

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting various materials, including palletized products and raw materials, to and from multiple facilities. The role involves assisting with order picking and supporting special projects. The position requires safe operation of multiple vehicle types and equipment such as semi-trucks, trailers, bobtail trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. When not transferring materials between facilities, the driver will support on-site material handling tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractors, trailers, and material handling equipment for transferring products within and outside the facility, including off-site storage locations.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, picking, transfer, and delivery of materials in various storage conditions, maintaining accurate paperwork. Some out-of-town transportation may be required.
• Comply with Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) regulations and all local and state transportation laws.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Participate actively in safety initiatives, adhere to safety protocols, and promote a safe working environment.
• Monitor the condition of transportation equipment and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage production materials, ensuring timely delivery and proper return of unused materials.
• Maintain warehouse FIFO procedures and follow standard operating procedures.
• Organize waste and recycling materials appropriately.
• Pre-stage and consolidate materials on pallets for production and storage needs.
• Keep warehouses and workspaces clean and organized.
• Load and unload pallets of finished goods and materials from trailers and storage areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
