Job summary

Higginbotham Brothers in Texas seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites and stores. You will maintain a Class A or B license, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs, and comply with hours-of-service rules.

You will deliver to active construction sites and finished locations, load and secure loads, unload at delivery points, and assist with warehouse stocking as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.
• Class A or B CDL license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active job sites and locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections.
• Maintain DOT logs and adhere to hours-of-service.
