The Armstrong Company is seeking a dedicated driver to oversee local transport, packing, and relocation tasks. You will operate a tractor trailer (CDL A) or straight truck (CDL B), manage helpers, and ensure accurate shipment handling and timely delivery.

Strong customer service and adherence to DOT rules are required. This role emphasizes safety, vehicle maintenance, and precise paperwork throughout daily routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
• Experience in moving, storage or furniture delivery preferred.
• Clean driving record; pass DOT and company checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks for local delivery, pick-up, and relocation.
• Protect items using pads and tape to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
• Complete shipment paperwork (Bills of Lading, Inventories, and related forms).
• Direct packers and helpers to ensure safe loading/unloading within productivity standards.
• Follow all DOT and safety regulations and maintain equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup.
