Job summary

TAL Building Centers is seeking a delivery truck driver to transport materials to and from destinations, with a capacity of 3 tons or more, onsite at our Mount Vernon store. Deliveries must be performed safely and within state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, maintaining logs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and assisting in yard upkeep while following safety protocols. Competitive benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Must have a valid CDL license (Class A or B) with air brake endorsement.
• Must be qualified to drive truck and trailer, tractor and trailer or crane operator.
• 5 years’ experience preferred.
• Must have a current valid medical certification.
• Must be able to pass a road test.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and unload materials to customers.
• Prevent damage and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate various types of equipment and vehicles safely and professionally.
• Report vehicles and equipment needing service and repair.
• Maintain trip logs and vehicle inspection reports.
