Job summary

Cemex US in Arizona is seeking a qualified CDL Class A driver to safely operate tractor-trailer equipment around city, job sites and plant properties. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure loads are secured, and communicate delivery details with dispatch.

The role requires at least 1 year of CDL driving, a clean MVR, and the ability to follow DOT/FMCSA regulations. You will join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and customer service, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma/ GED preferred.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Able to use a variety of technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive truck to and from destinations while following DOT driving regulations and area roads.
• Check loads to ensure product is hauled safely and in proper manner.
• Verify delivery directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant.
• Strive to meet customer expectations and achieve positive satisfaction surveys.
• Develop working relationships with customers to maximize opportunities for Cemex and address their needs.
• Keep equipment clean using approved materials.
• Maintain professional personal appearance.
• Communicate delivery instructions with supervisor/dispatch.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment.
