Job summary

PODS is seeking a driver in the Allentown area to deliver and pickup containers, maintaining safe, incident-free service and strong customer rapport. You will operate a lift-equipped truck, perform regular vehicle inspections, and assist with storage center tasks as needed.

The role requires a CDL Class B license, a valid driver license, and DOT-related certification or ability to obtain one. Training and growth opportunities are provided alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL Class B license without air brake restriction.
• Must hold a current/valid driver license and meet PODS driver standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a Medical Examiner's Certificate or able to obtain one (DOT).
• Experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to learn processes.
• Able to attend 2-week New Hire Driver Training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup containers at customer sites with a lift-equipped truck.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and lift.
• Operate forklift and/or overhead crane as needed.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with customers.
• Maintain truck cab cleanliness and report issues to leadership.
• Provide backup for storage center tasks as required.
• Assist with field repairs of containers and lifts.
