Job summary

PODS is looking for a CDL Driver to deliver and pick up PODS containers within the local area. You will operate a truck with a lift, perform daily inspections, and interact with customers to ensure incident-free service.

A CDL, HS diploma, and a DOT medical card are required, with the ability to obtain the card if needed. You will use handheld devices for verification, assist at storage centers, and maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months of professional driving experience.
• Valid CDL license and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial truck with lift mechanism to load/unload containers.
• Perform/pre/post-trip inspections of vehicle and lift.
• Complete local deliveries and pickups following safety standards.
• Use handheld devices for navigation and delivery confirmation.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers.
• Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab and containers.
