We are a full-service moving company, and this position involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods. The compensation rate is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Transport goods using a company truck.
  • Lead crew in loading and unloading shipments.
  • Inspect shipments for proper packing or wrapping prior to loading.
  • Perform accurate shipment inventories.
  • Assist in loading trucks and containers for interstate commerce.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
  • Maintain documentation for shipments, expenses, logs, and DOT compliance.
  • Lift and carry household goods between residences and vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Willingness to travel locally, intrastate, and interstate.
  • Ability to operate box trucks or tractor-trailers (as qualified).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality; ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Real ID compliant ID or driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent squatting, bending, and stairs use.
  • Long-distance driving.
