At Utility Technologies, as a Laborer Telecom Aerial, you will support an Aerial/Underground Telecom Crew with the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do as a Laborer Telecom Aerial

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Complete door-tagging and resident notifications before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow according to local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours duties as needed
• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What you’ll need

• Be at least 18 years old
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record
• Experience as an Aerial Lineman / Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified
• Telecommunications labor experience is a plus

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routine: work with arms above shoulder, in confined spaces, at heights, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 lbs, operate vehicles and machinery
• Occasional: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

Compensation

Salary Range: $27 - $35 per hour
