Job summary

Pinnacle Living's WindsorMeade Williamsburg community is seeking a part-time driver to transport residents to events, medical appointments, and activities. CDL with P endorsement is required, and a valid driving record is essential. Duties include safe operation of campus and off-campus trips, plus routine vehicle maintenance and documentation.

Qualifications

• CDL with P endorsement required.
• Driving record complies with Pinnacle Living risk management policy.
• First aid and CPR required.
• DOT physical, DOT drug screening & current Medical Examiners Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Drives facility vehicles transporting residents to and from regular, scheduled, and unscheduled activities and appointments on and off campus in a safe, prompt, and timely manner.
• Schedules medical appointments and organizes daily transportation schedule to ensure maximum number of appointments provided and residents transported efficiently.
• Processes invoices and resident charges for transportation services in a timely manner for supervisor approval.
• Records and reports any maintenance problems and provides documentation to supervisor when problems are discovered.
• Services facility vehicles daily to include pre- and post-trip inspections, fueling, oil checks, and cleaning as needed.
• Reports damages, traffic violations, and any other problems to supervisor immediately.
• Completes accident reporting procedures according to policy.
• Attends required training and in-services.
• All other duties as assigned.
