Job summary

Reworld is seeking a CDL Driver to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between facilities and client sites in the United States. You will operate vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and roll-off equipment, with on-the-job training offered for qualified drivers who meet licensing requirements and safety standards.

The role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires adherence to DOT regulations, safe driving, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ due to interstate travel.
• CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred but not required to hire.
• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience preferred, but candidates with less experience may be considered with strong safety records.
• Ability to use a tablet for E Logs.
• Must abide by all DOT regulations at all times.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste while meeting scheduled appointments.
• Ensure vehicle placarding meets DOT requirements.
• Maintain required paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
• Operate roll off equipment as required by daily route needs.
• Complete additional assigned duties.

About the role

The CDL Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. This role includes operating vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, dump equipment, and roll off equipment. While prior experience with this equipment is preferred, Reworld provides on the job training for qualified drivers who meet licensing requirements and demonstrate a strong safety mindset.

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to reach, grip, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to operate and maneuver roll off, tanker, vacuum, and other assigned equipment safely.

Shift Details

• Weekly home daily - Monday to Friday
• May include weekday and occasional weekend work depending on customer demand.

Pay Transparency

The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 22.60 - 30.05 USD per hour
