Job summary

Lawson Drayage, Inc. seeks skilled Riggers/Machinery Movers with a Class A license to join our growth in Texas. You will safely set up, load, and relocate heavy equipment as part of a team, communicating with dispatch and following safety rules.

Expect to work on-site with forklifts, cranes, and rigging gear, ensuring loads are secure and compliant. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CDL A, DOT medical card or ability to obtain, and forklift experience or certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years Driver/Rigger/Machinery Mover experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL License and DOT medical card or ability to obtain.
• Clean MVR and accident history.
• Forklift experience or ability to certify.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with dispatch on job scope and tasks.
• Inspect tractors, trailers, and loads before/after trips.
• Select rigging gear and prepare equipment for loads.
• Load/unload trucks, secure loads with straps and chains.
• Set up, level, and position heavy machinery safely.
• Operate lifting equipment and ensure on-site safety.
