Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions Inc is seeking a CDL Driver for full-time manual labor in Del Valle, TX. The role involves operating commercial and non-commercial vehicles and mobile equipment on highway and heavy construction projects.

You will perform a range of field tasks, including setting up forms, erecting scaffolding and barricades, loading materials, and driving between job sites. Valid Class A or B CDL, willingness to travel weekly, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions

Qualifications

• Previous highway construction or equipment operator experience.
• Valid Class A or B commercial driver license.
• Ability to travel weekly for projects located out of town.
• Ability to safely drive assigned vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Ability to implement construction practices and use hand and power tools and equipment in construction.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to comprehend and apply oral and written instructions.
• Ability to complete work accurately, timely, and safely under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
• Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed.
• Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
