Job summary

Central Valley Ag is seeking an Operations employee in Clifton, KS to assist in receiving, shipping and handling grain and agronomy products, and to perform preventative maintenance and cleaning as needed.

The role involves unloading and loading trucks, delivering fertilizer, chemicals and seed, monitoring inventory, ensuring grain quality, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. This is a full-time, hands-on position in a rural ag setting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Preferred to have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Preferred to have or be able to obtain a Commercial Applicator’s License.
• Knowledge of DOT or DOT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload grain from company and customer trucks.
• Assist in delivering fertilizer, chemicals, and seed to customers.
• Load agronomy products to customer trucks.
• Receive dry/liquid fertilizer, chemicals and seed.
• Assist with the scheduling, mixing and loading of liquids and fertilizers.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with scale operations.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the work area.
• Provide excellent customer service.
