Manito Transit LLC is a full-service petroleum, propane, ammonia, and chemical trucking company dedicated to providing high-quality products and services to improve customer profitability.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates semi-tractors and tankers following specified time schedules to/from company or customer locations to achieve profitable growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Operates semi-tractors and tankers according to safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques.
2. Performs and records daily safety checks, conducts pre-trip inspections, and maintains a clean, professional appearance of the vehicle.
3. Follows all DOT regulations.
4. Ensures timely deliveries and pickups, promotes customer service and professionalism.
5. Completes and returns all necessary documentation accurately and timely.
6. Maintains accurate logs and records of cargo and other duties.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Follows company policies, safety, and environmental regulations.
2. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years related experience operating tractor-trailers.
2. Demonstrates essential skills including communication, decision-making, and customer focus.
3. Must have or obtain a CDL with endorsements, valid medical card, and a good driving record.
4. Ability to work extended hours and on-call as needed.
5. Ability to lift 51-70 lbs and work in various weather and environmental conditions.
6. Participates in required training programs.
