Job summary

Paycom - ATS is hiring for an on-site labor role supporting paving, sealcoating, striping, and concrete teams on commercial projects. The candidate will perform physical labor, handle material placement, surface prep, and finishing work, while maintaining safety and vehicle/roadworthiness.

Responsibilities include operating paving machines, conducting pre-trip inspections, direct traffic, and supporting the on-site crew with tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL and DOT certification required; must pass drug test and background screening.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety.
• Physically capable of driving 8-10 hours, lifting up to 60 lbs., and working in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate paving machines to maintain material flow.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and complete logbooks per regulations.
• Direct traffic to prevent disruptions and ensure safety on site.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment/materials safely.
• Assist on-site crew with general labor tasks and traffic control.
• Maintain safe job site conditions and report safety concerns.
