Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver I, II to transport heavy machinery and barricades across project sites in the region.

The role requires physical labor in addition to driving, with duties including daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and on-site support for construction crews. This position is hourly, non-exempt, and involves overtime, safety compliance, and paperwork such as logs and timecards.

Qualifications

• Familiar with highway regulations for heavy equipment moves.
• Ability to perform physical labor and dig when required.
• Accurate math for weights, times, and billings.
• Detail oriented with strong data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to operate and drive the Transport and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and inspects trucks and machinery daily.
• Organizes inventory of tools and prepares trucks.
• Performs DVIR safety checks daily.
• Operates backhoes, excavators, rotomill, loaders.
• Loads equipment within legal limits to minimize trips.
• Delivers machinery to job sites promptly.
• Maintains complete tool sets and inventories.
• Reports to dispatcher with location and next assignment.
• Attends safety meetings and assists other crews.
• Adheres to DOT safety protocols.
