What You’ll Do

As an Equipment Operator, you will operate Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to deliver ANFO and other explosives safely, efficiently, and on time. Your duties will include:

1. Driving and operating straight bed vehicles over public roads to deliver explosive products safely and punctually.
2. Operating bulk/blend trucks to prepare and deliver quality ANFO products.
3. Maintaining and operating trucks and equipment in accordance with DN H&S Management System procedures.
4. Calibrating equipment, calculating fuel percentages, and checking emulsion density.
5. Loading and unloading trucks, maintaining magazines, sites, and inventories.
6. Following safety procedures to ensure personal and team safety at all times.
7. Preparing and maintaining records related to the handling and transportation of explosives, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate billing.

What We’re Looking For

• Class A or B CDL license.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (to be obtained before starting).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical work, commercial driving, explosives, or related fields (preferred).
• Ability to pass an ATF background check for explosive possession.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team spirit.
