Job summary

United Utility Services is seeking a motivated CDL Driver to join the directional drilling crew. This travel position covers roadwork Monday through Friday, with weekends at home, supporting daily operations both behind the wheel and on the job site.

You will assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and bore operations, while ensuring safety and efficiency on each site. Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical labor in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A), tanker endorsement preferred.
• Clean MVR.
• Clean background.
• Ability to pass drug test (including random testing).
• Ability to travel Monday–Friday.
• Willingness to perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and dependable teamwork.
• Experience in directional drilling or utilities is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of directional drilling equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on job site machines and fluid levels.
• Use locating equipment for drill head and assist with utility avoidance.
• Mix drilling fluid and support bore operations.
• Load/unload materials and equipment.
• Log equipment transported on/off the job site.
• Perform general labor: trenching, shovel work, site prep, restoration.
• Keep job sites safe, clean, and organized.
• Support crew with tasks to complete projects efficiently.

The salary range for this position is $23-$26 hourly. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

About The Role
