Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver & Delivery Helper in Sacramento, CA. The role involves safely operating a commercial vehicle, loading/unloading building materials, and delivering to customers while upholding safety and DOT regulations.

Base hourly wage ranges from $23.51 to $29.90 with overtime possibilities and additional benefits. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and excellent customer service in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License, Class A strongly preferred
• Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Boom or Crane experience required.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck.
• Safely deliver and unload materials to an assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Prepare the truck for the following day and maintain the truck and the equipment.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Must report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
• Stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload.
• Navigate routes to the job site.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
