Job summary

EXO Inc. is seeking a dependable Construction Crew Member with a Class A CDL to join our Birmingham-area field team. This hands-on role supports utility construction projects with concrete work, equipment operation, and heavy hauling between job sites.

You’ll help with site prep, forms, rebar, and loading equipment while observing DOT regulations and safety requirements. Travel is required to multiple sites and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience, preferably hauling construction equipment.
• Experience in construction, civil, utility, or heavy industrial work preferred.
• Experience with concrete work including forming, rebar installation, mixing, and pouring.
• Travel to multiple job sites; 90% travel required.
• Able to read and follow construction drawings and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor in support of utility, civil, and infrastructure projects.
• Mix, place, and finish concrete for foundations and structures.
• Set, align, and dismantle concrete forms.
• Install reinforcing steel (rebar) per project specs.
• Operate construction equipment safely and within certification levels.
• Assist with loading/unloading, site cleanup, and material handling.
• Maintain logs, inspections, and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with foremen and crew to complete projects safely and on schedule.
