Job summary

Ferguson in Harrisburg is seeking a CDL driver to deliver materials to customers. This full-time role offers home daily, no nights or weekends, and a steady daytime schedule 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $25 per hour, based on experience, with additional benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off. A valid CDL, DOT compliance, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain CDL requirements and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring ticket delivery.
• Pick up returns and validate product for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow safety policies and assist with warehouse orders as needed.
• Work overtime as required and adhere to PPE rules.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
