Job summary

QXO is seeking a reliable truck driver to join our team in Saint Paul, MN. The role involves touch-freight, pre-inspecting loads, verifying accuracy, maintaining safety, and coordinating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

You’ll work outdoors in all weather and follow DOT procedures, wearing PPE as required. Qualified applicants must hold a valid Class B CDL, have at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and be 21 or older.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• NCCCO certification or boom truck experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE.
