Qualifications

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer per the route sheet or dispatcher instructions.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Maintain productivity and follow all safety policies; complete required reports such as VCRs and route sheets.
