Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood is seeking a CDL Driver Class B in Orlando, FL. You will deliver products on time and with a positive image, communicate customer concerns, and operate equipment safely according to DOT policies.

Starting annual salary is $46,800, with a Monday–Saturday schedule and 5am start time. The role requires safety compliance, punctuality, and strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining professional appearance in Halperns’

Responsibilities

• Deliver Halperns’ products safely, accurately, and on time.
• Communicate customer issues and concerns to management.
• Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized truck cab and trailer.
• Process paperwork and handle customer payments.
• Monitor reefer temperature and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with management and sales to address customer concerns.

Operates Halperns’ equipment in a professional and safe manner demonstrating attention to detail, safe work habits, working knowledge of equipment and the ability to deal effectively with customers and the public. **Starting Annual Salary:** $46,800**Schedule:** Monday through Saturday with one day off during the week 5am start time ***Essential Functions: see below for level requirements**** Ensures safe, accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of Halperns’ products.* Follows all company and Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and procedures.* Builds and maintains good customer relationships. Demonstrates self-control.* Accurately collects customer payments. Safeguards company funds and follows Halperns’ banking policies.* Monitors reefer temperature, and reports mechanical issues and damages in a timely manner.* Completes daily check-ins in a timely manner with no errors.* Collaborates with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns.* Performs daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment. Completes check in process accurately and on time.
