Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Job Summary
Responsible for delivery and pickup of containers to and/or from customer locations; ensure effective and incident-free delivery or pickup while maintaining excellent rapport with the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites safely, following all safety rules.
- Perform and log daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift.
- Accept add-on deliveries as required to meet business needs.
- Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
- Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
- Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to customers.
- Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with customers.
- Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer questions and issues; prepare driver notes as needed.
- Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center.
- Provide backup for storage center functions when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab, both inside and outside.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Management & Supervisory Responsibilities
- Typically reports to Management, including roles such as Market Manager or Territory Manager.
- This job is not directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring, termination, performance management).
Pay Range and Benefits
Pay Range: $24.00 per hour

Qualifications: Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restrictions.
- Must maintain a current/valid driver license.
- Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
- Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement).
- Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to obtain at least a 1-year certification (DOT requirement).
- Experience with electronic equipment and software preferred.
- Proficient in math skills required for duties.
- Equivalent education, training, or experience acceptable.
- Ability to attend a 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
