Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM, seeks a CDL Driver I to safely transport lumber and building materials to job sites and distribution facilities across Texas. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs, while loading and unloading materials and ensuring proper documentation at delivery.

A valid Class A or B CDL, basic math and clear communication are required. Occasional interstate travel may be involved, with strict adherence to DOT regulations and company

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL license.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber and building materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and distribution points; some interstate travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per federal regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with customers on job sites.
• Load, unload, secure loads, and verify orders for accuracy.
• Maintain DOT logs and hours-of-service records.
