Job summary

Gilcrest Jewett, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport materials to job sites and other locations in Iowa. You will load, unload, and secure lumber and building materials, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs under DOT rules.

We value customer service, reliability, and the ability to work with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries. A High School diploma and CDL with flat beds/tractor trailers are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience hauling lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A/B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations; some inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs.
• Provide professional customer service and relay messages on site.
• Load, secure, and unload materials; verify orders.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and assist in warehouse stocking.
