Job summary

Wisconsin Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport building materials across Wisconsin and beyond. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs per DOT regulations, and unload at job sites while delivering excellent customer service.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, Class A or B CDL, and 1–2 years of CDL experience with flat beds/tractor trailers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers is required.
1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
Experience transporting and handling lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
Deliveries to active construction sites and completed build locations; city-based and inter-state travel may be required.
Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with federal regulations.
Provides exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and relaying messages to customers on site.
Organizes and secures loads to ensure safe transport and verifies orders for accuracy before departure and upon delivery.
Delivers and unloads materials accurately and safely, ensuring customer satisfaction at delivery.
Records all merchandise returned and assists in unloading materials returned for credit with proper documentation.
