Carter Lumber Company is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local jobsites with a safe, timely, and customer-focused approach. You will work with our well-maintained fleet and unload materials on site using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift.

The role emphasizes a clean driving record, familiarity with loading equipment, and reliable teamwork to meet daily schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• CDL license and DOT Medical Card are required.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience operating truck-mounted and Moffett forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

Description:

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift and aMoffett forklift
• A clean driving record and a current CDL license
• Must have DOT Medical Card
• Ability to be a team player
