Job summary

As a CDL Delivery Specialist with Carter Lumber, you will transport orders to local jobsites in a safe, timely manner using our fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met and provide friendly customer service at the jobsite.

On site, you will unload using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials exactly where customers need them. A clean driving record and CDL are required.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
