Job summary

Carter Lumber in Johnsonville, SC is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites with our well-maintained, company-owned fleet.

You will ensure on-time delivery, unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift, and deliver friendly, professional customer service while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience operating truck-mounted forklift and Moffett forklift.
• Clean driving record and valid CDL license.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time.
• Unload materials using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift at the jobsite.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on site.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain accurate deliveries.

Description:

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift and aMoffett forklift
• A clean driving record and a current CDL license
• Must have DOT Medical Card
• Ability to be a team player
