Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Driver in Lakeland, FL to safely operate a commercial vehicle and provide prompt recycling and garbage collection services. You will complete pre/post-trip checks, follow routes through residential areas, and interact professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, a Class B CDL, and knowledge of DOT regulations. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and teamwork in a multi-site waste management environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class B commercial driver's license (CDL-B).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations applicable to commercial drivers.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle on assigned routes including streets and alleys.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete required reports accurately.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers to ensure timely service.

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Position Summary:The driver position is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and providing prompt and complete collection services.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components are in correct operating condition.Ensures commercial vehicles are safely operated on allocated routes that encompass roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.Ability to manually and/or automate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with the FCC's safety regulations and procedures.Engages courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure that all services are performed in a timely and professional way.Continuously monitors the vehicle's status to ensure it remains operationally ready in order to reduce downtime.Completes necessary paperwork and other reports accurately.Maintains departmental productivity standards to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely and effective way.Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.RequirementsEducation:High School diploma or GEDExperience and Competencies:Garbage/Recycling experience preferredClass B commercial driver’s licenseAbility to lift or carry heavy objects as necessaryMust meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulationsClearinghouse profile requiredFCC is a drug-free workplace.
