Job summary

AHF Products is seeking a CDC Warehandler and CDL Local Driver for the Crossville, TN area. This role requires operating a Class 8 tractor/trailer, following delivery schedules, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license and a clean driving record.
• Two years of over-the-road and/or local experience operating a Class 8 tractor/trailer (80,000 GVW) or completion of accredited driving training with one year of OTR/local experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees.
• Must be available for overtime and other shifts as necessary.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 8 tractor/trailer and/or truck to deliver ceramic tile and other products.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and follow all requirements.
• Obey regulatory agency and company safety directives.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to assist customers and report dissatisfaction.
• Perform thorough safety checks on the truck before departure.
• Comply with traffic laws and weight limits.
• Report truck or delivery problems to Supervisor.
• Complete and file ELD logs and government paperwork accurately.
• Follow PPE, safety guidelines, and company policies; maintain a clean, safe workplace.

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a CDC Warehandler to be located in Crossville, TN.

Job Duties

• Operate a Class 8 tractor/trailer and/or truck to deliver ceramic tile and other products.
• Adhere to an assigned delivery schedule, following all delivery requirements.
• Obey all regulatory agency and company safety directives.
• Call Supervisor to work with customers when necessary and report any instances of customer dissatisfaction.
• Complete a thorough safety check on the truck before leaving domicile location to ensure that all delivery materials are firmly secured and all parts of the truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Obey all traffic laws and weight limits.
• Call Supervisor and report any problems or irregularities with the truck or deliver.
• Complete and file all ELD logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
• Follow safety guidelines and company standards, utilizing PPE as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Perform any other duties that may be required or assigned.

Physical Demands

• Frequent climbing, bending, walking/standing 8+ hours a day, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling tile.
• Frequent lifting 50-100 pounds, either alone or with the assistance of another employee, in conformity with lifting techniques detailed in safety policies and training materials.
