Job summary

MKC is seeking a CDL Driver 1 to operate tractor-trailer or 26,001+ GVW trucks and support agricultural activities. You will deliver liquids, dry mixes, seed, NH3 and grain, load products, and perform routine truck maintenance.

You will follow safety regulations, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive image of MKC while meeting company goals and delivering efficiency.

Qualifications

• Obtain operational knowledge of trucks and applicable OSHA, DOT regulations.
• Inspect and maintain trucks and operate them safely.
• Gain knowledge of agricultural products and MSDS.
• Hold a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adapt to changes and handle other essential tasks.
• Deal with customers professionally and resolve complaints.

Responsibilities

• Perform driving duties properly and per work orders.
• Operate and maintain delivery equipment per manuals and report maintenance.
• Mix agronomy products to quality standards.
• Report inventory needs to supervisor immediately.
• Inform Agronomy Operations Manager of new business opportunities.
• Greet customers promptly and resolve problems with care.
• Ensure customers are informed of safe product handling.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Provide outstanding customer service to generate repeat business.
