Job summary

Mid Kansas Coop is seeking a CDL Driver 1 to operate tractor-trailer or large trucks, delivering liquids, seeds, NH3 and grain while supporting agricultural activities. You will load products, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and maintain equipment in a safe manner to promote efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain operational knowledge of trucks and OSHA, State, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Inspect and maintain trucks and safely operate them.
• Knowledge of agricultural products and MSDS basics.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adapt to changes and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Interact with customers professionally and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or truck with GVW 26,001+ as directed.
• Operate and maintain delivery equipment; report maintenance needs.
• Mix agronomy products per quality standards.
• Inform supervisor of inventory needs and new business opportunities.
• Greet customers and provide outstanding service; resolve problems.
• Ensure safe product handling and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain clean, professional appearance of self and equipment.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management.
