OVERVIEW

Archer-Western is currently seeking a Truck Driver for the Elbow Rd Project in Virginia Beach, VA.

The Truck Driver will operate a truck with a capacity of at least three tons to transport goods or materials, including but not limited to dump trucks, flatbeds, and water wagons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate trucks to move and transport materials as required by the jobsite.
• Have knowledge of operating procedures related to loading and unloading materials.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oiling, greasing, and servicing equipment.
• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• 3-5 years of truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
