Job summary

Stone Warehouse of Michigan is seeking a reliable CDL Driver for a dedicated local route based in Sterling Heights, MI. This is a full-time 4-week contract with the possibility of extension, offering daytime hours and home every night.

As a CDL driver you will safely operate company vehicles, deliver to customers and job sites, maintain proper documentation, and uphold DOT and safety standards. Candidates should have a valid Class A or B CDL, at least 2 years of experience, pass a drug screen,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Must provide 10 years of employment/driving history.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Minimum of 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle on local and dedicated routes.
• Deliver products to customers and job sites throughout the surrounding area.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Complete required delivery and vehicle documentation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements.

This is a 4-week contract position with the possibility of extension, based on business needs and performance.

• Day shift
• Overtime may be available/required based on business needs.
